Howth TD Sean Kenny has paid tribute to the Howth Coast Guard following their rescue of two swimmers off the coast of Howth on Thursday evening. "I understand that the men had been swimming when they got overwhelmed by strong currents just before 7pm. They managed to climb onto some rocks at a cliff and called out for help. A passerby raised the alarm and the Coast Guard were on the scene within minutes and scaled the cliff and brought the two men to safety.
