Dublin North East Labour TD, Seán Kenny today strongly opposed the location of the North Dublin Sewage Treatment Plant at Clonshaugh, near Dublin Airport, as one of the three site options proposed for consideration by Fingal County Council "There are more than 2500 residential buildings within 0.5 - 1.0 km of the Clonshaugh boundary site, including Clonshaugh, Priorswood, and Darndale housing estates as well as the Burnell Court apartment development at the Northern Cross. Dublin North East Labour TD Seán Kenny has welcomed the announcement by the Minister for Social Protection, Joan Burton T.D., that she has extended eligibility for the JobBridge programme, which provides an additional 1,000 places on the scheme. KENNY SPEAKS IN DAIL DEBATE ON COMMERCIAL VEHICLES BILL

This Bill has two main components, namely, the reform of commercial vehicle roadworthiness testing and the designation of the Road Safety Authority, RSA, as the driver licensing authority. The provisions relating to the two areas will bring about a significant and positive change to the way in which both commercial vehicles are tested and managed and how the issue of driver licensing is dealt with.
