Labour Deputy for Dublin North East Seán Kenny has said that he was very pleased at the announcement of funding for Howth Junction and Raheny DART stations in Dublin North East. "These funds have been provided on the foot of the Department of Transport's €60 million contribution to the Jobs Initiative.", said Deputy Kenny. "Minister Kelly has informed me that €106,000 is allocated for painting, maintenance and upgrade works at Donaghmede (Howth Junction) Station and €9000 for Raheny Station under the €1 million Stations Upgrade Scheme.
