Dublin North East Labour Party T.D. Sean Kenny today welcomed the news that funding was being made available for the Clonshaugh Road. Dublin North East Labour TD and Oireachtas Transport Committee member, Seán Kenny, today welcomed the provision of €500,000 funding from Department of Transport to Dublin City Council to carry out major refurbishment works to the North City Fairview Pedestrian Bridge. "It is proposed to refurbish the footbridge at Fairview in 2012. The works will include renewing of the decking to the bridge as well as general repairs and painting of the bridge. Dublin North East Labour Sean Kenny today condemned the armed robbery by masked raiders at Donaghmede Shopping Centre this morning. Labour T.D., Sean Kenny today welcomed news that the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, is to make €100 million available for the upgrading of roads across the country. Dublin North East Labour TD Seán Kenny today welcomed the pre-Christmas decision by Dublin City Council planners (decision order P2866)to refuse planning permission for an extension to the controversial 2006 Donaghmede Shopping Centre development which had expired in 2011.
