Speaking on the Social Welfare Bill 2015 in Dáil Eireann I am very pleased to commend this Bill to the House, which gives effect to a number of social protection measures announced in Budget 2016. ALMOST HALF A BILLION EURO FOR SCHOOL BUILDING IN DUBLIN BETWEEN 2011 & 2015 - KENNY

Dublin Bay North Labour TD Seán Kenny has said almost half a billion Euro was spent on school building projects in Dublin between 2011 and 2015. Over €313,400,581was provided for primary schools between 2011 and 2015, which includes €28,055,584 under the Summer Works Scheme. It also includes funding that saw the building in 2012 of St. Michael's House Special School in Raheny and the getting underway this year of St Francis of Assissi in Belmayne.
