On the Eve of St. Patrick's Festival, Sean Kenny, the Dublin Bay North Labour TD, and member of Oireachtas Justice Committee deplored last night's vandalism at Bayside DART Station and shops in Baldoyle.

"This mindless vandalism which has caused extensive damage to Bayside DART Station and which was then continued at the Racecourse Shopping Centre in Baldoyle was reported as being caused by a teenage gang and I would call on parents of teenagers to become involved in dealing with outbreaks of this kind and keeping an eye on where their teenagers are."

"I will be raising this and other incidents at DART stations with the Garda Commissioner when she comes before the Oireachtas Justice Committee shortly after Easter. I want to make sure that the Gardaí are doing all that they can to ensure that incidents such as these do not happen."
