NEW JOBS SHOW EXPANSION OF IRISH TECH INDUSTRY - KENNY

Sean Kenny, the Labour TD for Dublin Bay North and member of the Oireachtas Communications Committee, has welcomed the news that an Irish company is expanding into the United States communications market.

"Microsoft Ireland has announced it will create 30 new development roles at its Irish based operations in Dublin. The new positions are located at its European Development Centre and are in the Microsoft Office Division, and in Applications Media and Publishing Group at Microsoft. The company also announced the creation of 35 new graduate positions across its business. It is also currently recruiting for a range of professional services roles in its EMEA Operations Centre and its Sales and Marketing Organisations."

"Meanwhile, FCS Global, who are based in Roscommon have announced details of an exciting project which will see the establishment of a new training entity, engineering expansion into the US market with the creation of ten new jobs based in Roscommon. Currently employing over 60 staff, FCS Global is a global independent communications company that provides communication solutions including voice, data and networking services to a wide variety of clients all over the world, including the Czech Republic, Denmark, Israel, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sweden, South Africa, the UK and now the USA."
